Welcome to the website of the embassy of the
kingdom of the Netherlands in Vietnam. You will find practical
information about the embassy and its services. You will also find
information about the Netherlands and the state of affairs on the
bilateral relations between the Netherlands and Vietnam. I am happy
to note that the bilateral relations between our two countries are
developing successfully. Gradually they are moving beyond
traditional development cooperation towards a mature and equal
partnership as Vietnam is soon reaching the status of middle income
country. On a number of areas Dutch and Vietnamese interests
coincide and as such offer a sound basis for fruitful cooperation.
Key areas of mutual interest are: economic cooperation in terms of
trade and investment, agriculture, water management and climate
change, health care and higher education. In order to facilitate
